Tried my hand at making bifanas, the classic Portuguese pork sandwich. Marinated in beer, wine, and garlic, then served on fresh bijou rolls with mustard and piri piri. Simple, messy, and ridiculously good. Brought back memories of cycling through the countryside in 2017 when Steve and I practically lived on these.

Also loving our apartment and new neighborhood. We haven’t tried cycling yet…

But now it’s back to the US to prepare the long stay visa application…
