One More Time! Support us cycling the very last AIDS ride.

Steve and I are riding the AIDS/LifeCycle (ALC) on their final year in 2025! He and I first met on the ride in 2015, so this will mark our 10 year anniversary. And 2025 will be the final year.

How we Met

In 2015, Steve was volunteering for the ride in bike parking. Tim was cycling for his 2nd time. Steve took over 250 “Selfies with Sexy Cyclists and Steve”, and Tim was the lucky one that Steve put a heart around:

Why it’s the last ride

Since COVID, fundraising has become really hard for events like ALC. In addition, too many people think AIDS is cured. In reality, we have some great medications, and people with HIV can live full lives, but those medications are expensive; there’s still a stigma against HIV+ people; and many HIV+ individuals need mental health support. These amazing organizations provide that. The San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Los Angeles LGBT Center are incredible.

Memories

2010: Tim’s first ride and first time in “drag”

2015: Tim’s 2nd ride

2015: Steve’s last day in bike parking as a roadie

2016: Our PJs in the Tent City

2019: At the finish line

2020: Biscuits and gravy fundraiser party (the ride was cancelled for COVID but we still raised over $15k!)

And many more!

Help us make some more memories! We’ll keep in touch. Move love,

Tim & Steve
